Well, it let me add them to my cart at $70/apiece but I am debating whether to buy them. I am building a new server and was thinking about putting two SSDs in a RAID1 array for the OS but I after rethinking it, that may not be a good idea.

EDIT: I went ahead and bought 2 this morning. It gave them to me for $69.99 each and the order went through.

EDIT2: Order canceled my MicroCenter. Oh well.

thanks! i have an older system in the kitchen. i was thinking about building a new system with linux. then it occurred to me that i could buy a ssd and try to keep this old system going for a bit longer. with the extra 5% from discover card, i couldn't resist buying.

I did give into the temptation and ordered one from Tiger Direct. This is supposedly already shipped via UPS though the tracking details are being slow to update. I'm guessing it will probably ship from the big warehouse outside of Chicago, otherwise I assume anything on the east coast is slowed down for a while due to the hurricane. I'll update if the ssd goes well.
