In for ~$560+tax if stuff is in stock and you take B650 board.

That's Ryzen 7, B650 AORUS ELITE AX, 32GB of DDR5-5600.

They also have a free Z690 DDR4 board with 12700K for $350 deal too. My local one has the board OOS, other wise its like getting a 12700K for ~$90 (?) which I think we'd be all about.

Maybe this stuff is piling up and they gotta dump some? That's sorta exciting for the deal hunter in me :D

It is VERY exciting. I'm super glad I live within driving distance to a MicroCenter. Close enough to drive but far enough where I am not constantly just buying PC parts. :p

FYI you should reserve the 6000 MHz RAM instead if it shows up as Free eligible for you. See my post above.

Both kits sold out at the Cambridge MA store. My 5600 kit that I got first time around runs fine at 6000 with 1.25V. Just noticed that the "official" 6000 kit calls for 1.35.

crap, you guys!

My problem is also that Microcenter is perilously close to easy driving distance...and also selling many pieces of the other things in the big old kit that I'm thinking about, and now these "peripheral" bits that I didn't plan, but are very intriguing and very useful. hmm... hmm.

Excellent deal. Shuts down all of the reasons reviewers cite, not to buy Zen 4.

well, the problem for me now would be the extra work: I never do first gen stuff. Certainly not with motherboards. At least, I'd rather the motherboards be available out of the box with 4th or 5th version baked in. I'm lazy and completely untalented when it comes to this stuff. :D

But you know, I have some free time today...

I already took advantage of the first time MC bundled free 5600 MHz, so no point going for it again, but I was able to convince my buddy to jump on this deal. He should also be ably to get an extra $50 off from being a 1st time customer and for submitting a PC build, so the value is just insane. That's a total of $289 in savings right there, effectively making his 7700X + Gigabyte X670 Aorus Elite AX + 6000 MHz DDR5 only $589 before tax. I'll be picking it up for him sometime this weekend since he lives much further away.
