$49.95 + $8.95 S/H PLUS $3.95 per item for every order.
Total $62.85 compared to $39 delivered for the Newegg board. (if you can ever catch it in stock)
I have a dual channel Epox 8RDA+, and the non-dual channel Asus a7n266vm.
Dual channel is a joke, and does nothing for performance, except if you have integrated video.
If using integrated video, dual channel can give you a 10% to 20% boost in video performance.
So if you hit 2200 3dm2k1se single channel, you could expect 2420 to 2640 3dm2k1se using dual.
If faster video is your goal, the 2640 still sucks just as bad as 2200 3dm2k1se.
But, if all you are shooting for is better video, still better off getting the Asus, and adding
in a $50 video card. The onboard video is still only sub GF2 MX, either with dual channel,
or if still using single channel. Yes, it is very usable with most modern games, as long as
you have a fast CPU, and don't mind 800x600 @ 16bit.
If the dual channel MSI board's video is good enough for you, than the non-dual channel
Asus will also be fine for you. Asus here hit's a little above 2100 3dm2k1se, (XP1600+)
while even the newest Nvidia Nforce2 boards with IGP (Epox 8RGA for example), which is
much better than the 420 chipset, are only hitting in the mid to upper 2000's on average,
with same system components (dual channel).
The Asus is still the king for lowest cost/decent performance/decent features/overclockability, in an all-in-one board.
