Micro ATX & Low profile PCI cards

Can someone clarify this for me?

When a case states ' 4 low profile PCI slots' does this mean that the bracket at the back is half height or that the PCI board itself must be low profile?

Thanks!

both - often a card is already low-pro. but these low-pro cases need both the card and the bracket have to be shorter than normal. If you don't want to mess with finding low-pro cards, look at cases like the Athenatech A100 - still pretty compact but can use full-size cards. Two other cases made with the same insides as the A100 are the Ahanix Blu 1 or 2 and some of the Maxtops. Chenbro also has a nice one.
