micro ATC tower case without external drive bays?

Pretty much what the title says, are there any Micro ATX cases that dont have external drive bays and only one internal 3.5/2.5" bay?

Been trying to see if anyone makes a tower but without external drive bays to cut down on size/weight but to no avail.

I assume that once the 5.25" drive bay is removed the case becomes too slim for full height cards.

That case is the same size as my Antec SLK2650 which still takes ATX motherboards. I'd also like to see manufacturers start making cases without optical drive bays as they just aren't necessary outside of the HTPC market nowadays.

I'm waiting on a decent super compact case with only one HDD bay that still takes ATX PSU's and two full height expansion slots. For now I've picked up a Lian Li PC-Q07 and plan on retooling the interior a little for my needs.

Yeah, I like that case but it only has one expansion slot. I had actually been using Jetway JC110, but there isnt room in it for a PSU or the two cards I am going to be using (HDD tray is in the way for bottom slot). Hoping to upgrade to a micro ATX board (for the extra PCI slots) and case as small as possible that will fit a small PSU as well and ideally the case would just scrap the external drive bays all together.

You can actually fit any graphics card in it and a standard ATX PSU. Mini-ITX though.

I like that one the best, but still so much wasted space with the drive bays, I am only fitting one 2.5" drive in the system and the PCI-e cards are about 7" long give or take. Also the price for just the case is a bit steep.

What makes you like the v354 better?
What are you going to put in the case, do you have to have micro atx or could you do with mini-itx?
Exactly how small do you want the case to be?

Nothing specific I am looking for, just wanting to keep case dimensions as low as possible. I have a mini-itx motherboard now but I will need to expand to two slots in the near future and the riser and splitter adapters that are flexible are a bit ridiculous in price to consider.

So basically that narrows my choice down to a micro-atx case. Its gotta fit two PCI cards in there, pci-e, power supply and 1 2.5" HDD. nothing else required for the case, just that its as small as possible but still allowing for good airflow. The reason I liked the v354 better is because it would fit an aftermarket heatsink and fan which I am using since the machine is exposed to the outside temperatures/humidity all year round in NC.

mmm i agree with your assessment of the v354. Out of the cases i suggested it seems like the case that best fulfills your requirements is the Sugo SG02F. It's definitely small.
I don't know about aftermarket coolers but it might be possible.

Anyway I don't have the whole small form-factor market sussed out so you might well be able to find something else.
