Hello. I will probably go to UMich for school. I was hoping someone can give me a general description of what the weather is like year-round. Obviously winters are cold (I'm not stupid :)) but what about spring, summer, fall? Like are summers usually hot or just mild, and is it usually humid... how many days of sunshine (very generally) and are there lots of bugs during summer etc?

gracias

oh yeah, and what do you mean by VERY HOT? are we talking 60's and 70's? hehehe
in LA that's cold hehe. it gets to be like 80-90 here, but there isn't much humidity so it's not bad at all. is it sticky humid kind of weather during summer?

:D Just need to watch out for the nasty winter though. It gets pretty windy over in Michigan. When win blows, it blows to be outside. :)

pillage2001, perhaps Kazoo is located under an ozone hole or something because, where I live (about 30 miles from Ann Arbor), most of the year is overcast. I'd agree that Spring and Fall are very nice. Unfortunately, they last for a week and a half. Summer is usually only miserably hot and humid for about 2 weeks. When I moved here, the most difficult change was getting used to the length of the winter. It gets cold in October and stays cold until May. So that leaves about 5 months of the year when it's not winterlike. As for the bugs, it varies depending on how harsh the winter was.

Of course, Fronline Warrior will be studying most of the time anyway, so what does it matter?

If you live in So. Cal. you're gonna hate it. So freaking cold in the winter. At least you can leave and go home during the summer. I'm from Santa Cruz, my dad's from michigan, and I've gone there to visit him. I don't like michigan.

It's still better than New Jersey, though.
