There's nothing to be accomplished with a recount in Michigan. If Jill Stein wants to spend more of Soros' money and if the Board of Canvassers, or whomever makes such decisions wants to take it, the recount will happen but it's a waste of time. Pennsylvania isn't happening. But I'm all for recounts in Virginia, New Hampshire and California as well as one or two others but I don't think George wants to spend his dough there. He might not like the results.

Sheesh all the whining about recounts. If allowed by statute and the legal process is followed why bitch and moan about it.

Personally I don't expect them to alter the election outcome and believe they are a waste of time but some here seem to very butt hurt by the very concept of them even happening.

I suspect if someone actually had proof that the votes had been hacked or tampered with most would agree recounts should happen. No proof exists, it's just butthurt dems trying to prevent Trump from receiving 270+ EC votes on 12/13 due to just the 3 states that put him over the top being recounted.

How would you have proof without doing a recount?

It's convenient that the thousands of state workers who would be involved in a recount, and all the judges in all the districts examining the recount and hearing legal challenges, are all sitting idle with nothing more important to consume their time with.

And that's why it costs money.

Trump was the one who claimed that the election would be rigged. So because he won, it's everyone else's responsibility to see if he was right or not.

Did he say the "election" would be rigged? I remember him talking about the "system" being rigged.

There is a huge difference, but hack away.
There is no difference. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. In an alternate universe, Trump would have demanded a recount under threat of violence. In this universe, things have proceeded more peacefully thus far.

Those 2nd amendment people could have done something about it.

All you had to do is listen to Trump for 5 minutes and it would have become clear and you have no idea if Trump would have done that..

Only if Clinton was the winner.

You guys enjoy your recount, but please understand one thing. If we see the left steal this election, the right will come out in force. Even people like myself, who will never vote for Trump, will come out. And it won't be burning police cars and American flags, vandalism of "enemy" buildings, and looting stores. It will be civil war, preventing Hillary's ascension by armed force. You will not do to the nation what you did in Minnesota.

Excellent! Now Michigan can take pride in its partial ownership of the next four years of our country's progress.
