Very low carbs, only 2.6 per bottle. Tastes pretty much like light beer . . .drink it really cold though, it gets nasty when it's warmer.

Beer that won't give you a beer belly?! What's next . . . ? ;)

One pretty much has to drink the bottle within just a few minutes of getting it out of the fridge, for it does become quite undrinkable, once it starts to warm up.

If you figure you're going to drink at least a 6-pack anyway, why not just drink something harder? I doubt a 6 pack @ 4.2% is much more carbs than a few scotch & sodas.

I actually got a bad batch of Ultra before. The entire 6 pack was undrinkable. The stuff is good, but has to be cold like mentioned. I am starting to like Miller Lite more than Michelob. I prefer to NOT drink light beer, but the calories and carbs in others are crazy.

Miller lite ~102 calories
MGD ~ 152 calories

I think miller lite tastes pretty bad. Im willing to drink 4 MGD rather than 6 light beers if calories is an issue. I dont think I could drink 6 lites even :p

Yeah but scotch and diet soda sucks balls. I can't have too much sugar.

I have a hunch every batch is bad. ;) Yes, I've tried it out of curiousity.

If I felt the need to drink low carb (i.e. bad) beer, I'd quit drinking beer altogether.

Life's too short to drink bad beer

Ultra's carb content isn't really that much different from other light beers. Definitely not enough to warrant an "ultra" moniker. Tried it, didn't like it. As for the 2.6g of carbs per bottle, do note that they have a smaller 7oz (I think) bottle that they sell as well. I want to say the normal bottles are 4.6 or 5.2 or somesuch.

Not a fan. I'll steer towards another light beer first.

If you're saying the 12oz bottles are more than 2.6g of carbs, that would seem to be incorrect because the label indicates 2.6.

How many servings per bottle though?

LITE only has slightly more carbs....and stll tastes a whole lot better.

Remember:

I tried Michelob Ultra on three different occasions and didn't really care for it. It seemed to have a strange aftertaste to me. Miller Lite is my favorite of the "light american piss" variety :). It's got a whopping .5 more carbs per serving than Ultra which I really don't think makes much difference in the scheme of things. After all, if you have to choke the beer down, why bother drinking it at all?

Forget that nonsense.

I'll stick to the Tall-boys of Grolsch. Tastes like beer, feels like beer, and fcuk the calories and carbs... that's why I go to the gym.

fcuk all light beers. The only one I'll touch is Samuel Adams Light, not easy to find, but worth it. I only had it once, but it was tasty. Not as good as regular Sam, but what is? :)

Quoted for truth.

It may not be as good as regular Sam, but it's still better than 90% of the beers out there, light or not.
