Michelle Obama speech Delaware part1

I don't remember a potential first lady resonating with the common person quite like this, looks like the Clintons have some serious competition here compared to George Bush senior, and Bob Dole during the 1992 and 1996 campaigns.

Seven parts just follow the links in the related video box.

We have had a pretty uniform string of top quality first ladies over the past few decades, but I have to admit I was especially impressed with Michelle Obama on Larry King Live last night. Derspite being a Ivy League top corporate lawyer, she comes across as a real person dealing with the real issues of ordinary life.

It's often said of GWB that he conveys the impression that he is the type of guy you'd like to have a beer with (or soda, in his case). I got exactly the same impression of Michelle Obama-the sort of person I'd take up in conversation at a PTA meeting, etc.

I watched all 7 parts and that was one hell of a speech. She has a different style than Barack, but she's just as good of a speaker IMO. Newsweek just came out with an excellent article on her as well. A truly amazing woman.
