I bet half of the chickenhawk neo cons would sh!t their pants at the mere sound of gunfire and here they are, comfortably sending other people into battle.

One might call me a neocon. However, during my military service, I ensured that I qualified "expert" level on 4 different weapons - in the event the need arose to use them. Do I have any trouble with U.S. troops fighting our wars? No. Freedom does not always come freely.
So you would be perfectly comfortable if you were in the military now, going and fighting in Iraq? With all the information about the reasons for going we now have?

I may be there in a few years, and I am perfectly comfortable with that.

What else?

It's great to see your solid devotion to your country. Most of the peeps here would only get close to military experience by playing Xbox games.

WE ARE NOT FIGHTING IN IRAQ FOR OUR FREEDOM. Haveing pride and devotion to your country is one thing, but you do not necessarily have to become a sheep and blindly support a war with unjustified causes. I support the brave troops in Iraq, but I do NOT support the war.

If you only had some semblance of a clue as to how the military works. Soldiers do what they do because they are told to, regardless of what their opinion of the matter is. That is how it must be for the military to function. People know this when they sign up. They enlist to serve their country, not their own personal agenda.

Off that subject, this war is perfectly justified. It is merely a continuation of the Gulf War which never officially ended, as Saddam failed to meet the provisions of the cease-fire which was set in place at the end of the first major involvement. If you followed politics to any extent rather than just becoming a sheep and blindly opposing a war with justified causes, you wouldn't look like an idiot right now. Carry on.

1) i was talking about citizens who are not in the military, about supporting the war. Obviously if you are in the military you follow the orders that are given to you.

2) Sadaam was not connected to 9/11 (there has been no proof found), and how dangerous he is and his WMD were greatly exaggerated.

3) the economy is in the crapper, and the president does not seem like he is doing much to fix it, as he focuses on the war to divert attention.

that is all

I didn't say anything about 9/11. I just said that the war is still perfectly justifiable and legal.

you did not say anything about 9/11, but Bush justified the war with it. It was misleading to the citizens of this country and the troops.

By the way, there was no 2000 election, but rather 5 Justices that decided the fate of this country.
Come on, the damn election is over, there's about to be a new one, and even the old people in Florida know that what you just stated is completely false. The Supreme Court simply upheld the law.
Even a complete idiot can see that.

The FEC and NARA disagree with you.

The truth disagrees.
Hahahaha, here's what's jumps right out at you on that page:

George W. Bush and Richard Cheney received 271 Electoral Votes
Albert Gore, Jr. and Joseph Lieberman received 266 Electoral Votes

Who cares? The first thing you see when you click the link that YOU posted is the electoral count.

You are the moron for thinking that Bush stole the election. Anyone who thinks that is a moron. Even Al Gore knows that he lost the election fair and square, period, end of story. HE is the one who took it to court. He even lost every recount.
Look, here's the ONLY thing that matters, and read it very slowly so you'll understand, maybe save it and have your mommy read it to you: UNDER THE ELECTION LAWS AT THE TIME, BUSH WON. The time to change the law was not right after Gore found out he lost, but that's exactly what he did, or tried to do. The case should never have gone to the Supreme Court, Florida's supremes should have upheld the election as it stood, which was in accordance with the rules at the time.
If you feel you got shafted in an election, then you work to get the laws changed so it doesn't happen next time.
It's no different than a football team winning a game on a last second play, only to have the officials decide to review the call a couple of days later to see if they really scored or not.
Get over it.

Has you ever watched a football game where the ref revert a TD, when you and every other living person see on instant super high tech slo mo review that it was in fact a TD?

Now, about the reading thing, may be I'll get your mom to read it to me.

Not after the game was over. Twist my analogy all you want, still doesn't change the FACT that, again, UNDER THE ELECTION RULES AT THE TIME, Bush won, fair and square. Gore tried to change the rules after the game was over. This is an undisputable fact.

I haven't seen the movie and don't care for MM, but I'm continually surprised and disheartened at the fact that so few Americans actually seem to care about the now well illuminated fact that one of the primary reasons to go to war was, in effect, moot. Unfortunately much of the voting public couldn't give less of a damn what their party does, because they'll be loyal for life anyway, like idiots.
