Michael Moore Predicts Trump Victory, Bill Maher Smirks

Interrupting the flow of Trump jokes, Moore said, “"I’m sorry to have to be the buzzkill here so early on, but I think Trump is going to win.“ Moore said a bit later, “People are in denial of this, but the chance of [Trump] winning is really, really good.” There were boos from the audience. “Yes, boo because you don’t want him to be President,” said Moore, “but don’t live in denial about this. Because the very things that we are all [joking about], this is music to [Trump supporters’] ears. We’re sitting here in our bubble.”

I think this is going to be an interesting election. There is so much dirt on Hillary to bring up that you could not cover it all in a book.

But none of that matters to liberals. The only thing that matters to them is that Trump's wife, who is not running for political office and does not and will not make policy, has plagiarized a speech. It's a big F'ing deal apparently.

Didn't a book try to cover most of all the messed up thing that Hillary did? Clinton Cash I think it was called.

Said who? Liberals were against Trump long before Melania's speech. Her speech is the most authentic thing about Trump campaign so far.

No, it's the Trump campaign's repeated lies that have made it a big deal.

Again I have to say I find it extremely funny that conservatives who have been saying Hillary is a liar for years turned around and nominated a pathological liar, someone whose sheer level of dishonesty is probably unparalleled in the history of US politics. That's amazing.

It just shows that these people never actually cared about honesty, they are hypocrites who were looking for an emotional justification for what they already wanted to believe.

As far as what Moore said, Trump's campaign manager got paid by Russia to put puppet Yanukovich in power in Ukraine, so he has good experience polishing turds. Of course we know what happened to Yanukovich and Ukraine later.

Not going to happen, he'd have to get 65% of the white vote. Regan couldn't even pull that off.

Pretty brave, making a prediction like that when the race is down to 2 candidates. Next you'll tell me that he's predicting the Super Bowl coin flip to be tails.

Yes, but what does the liberal mind do but continue to harp on Trumps lies when conservatives don't care about them. That is the nature of the liberal brain defect, the inability to credence the fact that conservatives are capable of the most egregious lies and use them successfully to win elections.

Ask yourself, what lie would you tell about Trump that if true would scare the hell out of conservatives and make it so. Personally, I think he made a pact with Satin for money and fame and beautiful women to get to a place where he can destroy Christianity. The Bible is his favorite book because the devil can quote scripture. Now ask yourself if pushing such a lie would be personally distasteful for you. Would you fear it would imply a lack of character.

Is politics a game where people of character can't win?

Since he said something they like. They seem to be forgetting that Moore's primary purpose is to be a sensationalist.

Or perhaps he knows the power of sensationalism and sees in Trump his own gifts and know their power better than you ever will.

You simply have no idea how powerful the motive of self destruction is in a population riddled with self hate, and there is little chance you will face it in yourself to see it. People who do not know what they feel are not real and that's pretty much everybody.

Pointing out how dishonest he is isn't to convince conservatives of this fact. I'm sure somewhere deep down they are aware of it. The purpose is to sway undecided people and to motivate liberals who might otherwise not act against him.

It seems to me that somewhere deep down liberals think Hillary is about as big a liar as Trump is so I'm not sure the purpose you have is very effective. The choice for most people seems to be which of two worthless liars should I vote for. My guess is that the best liar wins, best of course being the one who tells me the lies I want to hear. That tells me too that the best at rationalization wins and that would be right down conservative brain defect alley.

But you know I admire your nobility.

What I see is a race to convince the majority of a naïve and brain dead people, the voting public in the US, by appealing to their unconscious desires through lies, that x or y offers them the most ego gratification. He or she who can best tap into or mold that generalized sickness wins. That's what politics is.

I do miss your occasional nuggets of wisdom Moonie.

Yes, that is the only thing that matters to liberals.

And, obviously, nothing matters to conservatives. Trump is the greatest candidate and, quite clearly, the greatest human.

Well all I know is Ted Nugent is still in the US even though he promised he would move to canada if Obama got re-elected. Maybe if Hillary is elected he'll finally move.

The only Micheal Moore prediction that you can count on is that he will be stuffing another twinky down his neck.

Liberals? Almost everyone, including most republicans, were against Trump 6 months ago. This is such a strange election cycle, I am starting to lean toward the theory that we are living in a simulation. It would explain why 10s of millions of voters are backing this orange nightmare; they are all non playable characters.
