He's a good football player, remember this is only his second year, I wont defend his misstakes though. The team around him is pretty bad, I'll give him that.

Excuse me, what's so overrated about Pennington besides having the highest pass completion percentage in the NFL?
 
Pennington was first to admit that his recievers were doing most the work, and that has been pretty obvious from watching his game, lots of very short zone passes. He's getting the job done though, and I think saying these guy's are over rated is a bit harsh, these guy's are in the playoffs!!

Ya, what a bum. All he does is complete more passes than anyone else, has a 4:1 TD-INT ratio, gets better as the season goes on, and wins ballgames. I mean, my grandma can do that 😕

You've got Wayne Chrebet and Laveranues Coles as your receivers and while they're not horrible, they certainly aren't Marvin Harrison or Terrell Owens. I think he was just trying to be modest in saying that his receivers deserve all the credit, much like most RBs will tell you that their stats is all because of the lineman. While sh!tty lineman will get you nowhere, you still need to be one hell of a back to get something like 1,500 yards rushing. If it were all about the receivers, how come Vinny Testacles was doing so bad at the start of the season?
 
GOD, vick can't get protection to save his life. his offensive line sucks.

while it's fun to watch him scramble and his receivers adjust...i'm surprised it's as effective as it is
 
I'm impressed with his composure! Its only his second year and he's willing to stay in the pocket, altho is constantly getting forced out. Its rare to see so much composure from such a mobile quarterback.

Mcnabb is impressive too, especially since its only his first game since november.

Why did Kurt Warner do so bad and Buldger do so good?. I'm not putting down Pennington in any way, he's great, but I've seen his specials and he says himself he dose not have a great arm, he's a zone passer and relies on his good dicision making. The guy's he gets to throw to all run a 4.nothing 40, they get open very quickly and that makes pennington a much better QB. Even in College he had guy's with insane speed, randy moss was one of them.

Pennington's arm sucks, I'll definitely agree. But you don't need a great arm to be a great QB. Look at Jeff Garcia. Like you said it's his good decision making that makes him such an effective passer and it's something which many QBs in the NFL don't have.

Heh heh, yeah, not many white guy's that can pull that off as off late 😛, j/k. Probably why coles has over 100 more receving yards and 6 more tuchdowns than Chrebret though for sure. Chrebet has been in the NFL for 8 years though and the man can catch. Swayne, Coles and Santana Moss are all extremely quick though.

The only thing anyone talked about this week was Michael Vick. By definition, he is overated.

Vick finished 21 of 36 passing for 261 yards. He also led the Falcons in rushing with 45 yards on 14 carries.

Number of Passing Touchdowns: ZERO

Number of Rushing touchdowns: ZERO

He is young and full of potential, but he is going home...
