Probably a 6-8 week injury.

Theisman just said he was able to come back from that in 6 weeks.

Ever since 2001 (Eddie George), the player on the cover of the Madden NFL video game has had a poor season compared to their previous one.

2001 - Eddie George gets injured (I think)
2002 - Daunte Culpepper, Vikes go 5-11, or something
2003 - Mashall Faulk suffers injuries, Rams start 0-5, miss playoffs
2004 - Michael Vick breaks fibula, to be continued
