Maybe I am a little sensitive when it comes to racism in this country... apologies with the same mouth that said the racist comments are not acceptable... he needs to do more than just open that same racist mouth..

I don't think they were that harmed - really .. but I hate racists ..

I dislike racists as well, but we have a First Amendment in this country. Our problem is not words, but the sentiment behind them. I am wary of abusing the legal process to deal with constitutionally-protected speech. Verbally insulting someone is not actionable, plain and simple.

I know we do.. I am just being vengeful... :( it is not healthy .. It just feels like media celebrities should be held to a different standard than bar thugs..

I do respect our bill of rights ... I just get a very heavy heart when I think back to scenes of innocent americans hanging from trees or being burned on a stake or drug behind pickup trucks just because some fvcking aasshole thinks they can do that..

**racism and slavery are one of the reasons I dislike Christians.. they owned slaves and went to Church on Sunday and never thought anything was wrong with it.. I have read that the sharks still follow the slave triangle hoping to find dead bodies of slaves that didn't make it floating in the water after being thrown overboard

and a good portion of the abolitionists were Christian as well......

Lincoln gained popular support for his war by selling it as a war on slavery to christians.

Wow, you sure can pick and choose who's a racist and who should be hated. You make a comment about how Jews are running Hollywood and that's why it's decaying America, and you hate Christians because some of them owned slaves. What a hyprocite.

Seriously, what is wrong with you? You shed these tears over people who were mistreated, and then go on to talk about how much you hate Christians and Jews because of the actions of a few. You're as much a bigot as anybody else. If you were in front of me I'd spit in your pathetic face.

Go cry your crocodile tears elsewhere.

reading comprehension.. where did I ever say HATE .. can you tell me?

sounds like you have some sort of guilty feelings or something..

BTW, I don't give a ****** what YOU think about me.. why should I? You sound like a serious asshole.. spit in someones face makes you a better man.. get over yourself and buy a new mirror

Eh, you said dislike, not hate. It's obviously a strong enough "dislike" for you to bring up slave owning Christians in a thread that has absolutely nothing to do with slaves or Christians. The fact that you're using a totally unrelated thread as a springboard to broadcast your "dislike" of Christians tells me it's a pretty intense "dislike", so call it what you will, you're still a bigot. You're using the actions of some to paint an entire group of people, and that's what we refer to as stereotyping, a key component of bigotry. You then use that stereotype to conclude you dislike that entire group of people. Congratulations, you are a bigot.

Telling me I have guilty feelings, that's a nice touch. Try to shift the focus from you to me. It was a good attempt, but you're still a bigot.

Yes, in fact, asking whether or not the decline of morals in Hollywood is directly attributed to the Jewish influence on the place, is a racist and anti-semitic question. We're not going to tell you not to ask it, but we are going to point out its anti-semitic qualities and ask that in the interests of intellectual honesty you recognize them.

It depends on the motive. What If i was to change your sentance around:

in fact, asking whether or not the decline of morals in RAP is directly attributed to the Black influence on the place, is a racist........

Even if you state a fact - Kramer bringing up lynching perhaps.....I think you can be upgraded to a racist or anti-semite depending on the motive. But then again all people in Hollywood wear shoes, all rappers wear shoes too. Does that mean we can blame it on the shoes?

It wouldn't matter if you changed my sentence around. Blaming the decline in morals in rap on the Black man is also inherently racist, because the motive is clear.

Rap is only considered morally reprehensible because of the ideas they espouse, not because they are 'black'. Hollywood is the same way.

Don't expect dahunan to acknowledge this information. Bigots fear facts, they throws their entire system of beliefs into question. Racists don't like science, things like DNA show that everyone on the planet is related very closely. Bigots like dahunan fear facts about Christians doing good, because that would mean he couldn't hate an entire group of people. Small minds don't have enough capacity to judge people individually, they need to generalize.

I kinda feel sorry for the guy. He just lost it. His tirade to me was uncalled for, but the part that really bothered me was the reference to hanging. That should never be said, I can even understand losing your cool saying some racial slurs out of pure anger, but that hanging comment was way over the top. To be honest he seemed like he might be on some medication. He just didn't seem right. Kinda sad because any chance he may have had for future acting success just went out the window. Sad, really sad. This is tragic.

As for the topic at hand, I don't really think Richards was speaking out of racial animus - he didn't even seem angry to me - but more out of a desire to be provocative. It was definitely really stupid in any case.

Sometimes I have to question your judgment. He didn't seem angry to you? You're a lawyer, right? Well, at least you're not a psychiatrist. :p THEN I would worry. ;)

Not really - it looked like schtick to me (although admittedly I've only seen a very hazy, low-res video). I think I'd have to see more of the context to conclude that he was actually angry. FWIW, I thought his apology on Letterman seemed heartfelt and he seemed genuinely really really upset about the whole situation.

I did major in psychology as an undergrad, as it happens, but fortunately that doesn't entitle me to practice!

That was a classic meltdown. Doesn't matter if he meant what he said in his tirade or not, it was flat out wrong and Michael Richards proves he is just another moron walking the earth.

It's not really a double standard if you consider that blacks have been the underdog for centuries.

Hahah wow. I can't believe that is actually going to happen. Richards is a retard for doing that. An apology, counseling, blah blah, is all that's needed.
