Moore is coming out with a new movie that is sure to piss of just as many conservatives as his last did.

His next film, titled "Fahrenheit 911," is scheduled for release in the two months before Election Day. It tells "in part the story of twin errant sons of different oilmen," he says, and will stir together the pre-9/11 intersection of Bush and bin Laden family business interests when both had ties to the Carlyle Group. Such connections "may mean nothing," Mr. Moore concedes. But then he recalls Jane Mayer's article in the November 2001 New Yorker about the private Saudi jet that the Bush administration permitted to fly 24 members of the bin Laden family out of the country after 9/11, before they could be questioned in detail by the F.B.I. "Here's one question I want to pose," he says. "What if on the day after Oklahoma City, Bill Clinton, suddenly worried about the safety of the McVeigh family up in Buffalo, allowed a jet to pick them all up and take them out of the country, not to return?" You can already fantasize how Mr. Moore, once he is turned away from the White House, might travel to Kennebunkport to pursue the first President Bush in retirement much as he did Charlton Heston in "Bowling for Columbine."

He thinks the majority of people agree with him so in his eyes he is doing it for the masses. He had a commentary on his website last week that said the reason that 77% +/- of Americans agree with the action in Iraq was because these were the people with family in the military.

He claims to be a peoples advocate but he is just as lost in the little liberal dreamworld as the rest of them.

The only difference he makes in the grand scheme of things is the waste of air and good buffet meals he consumes.

I'll be in line to watch it. I find Moore's work to be quite good; good enough to win an Oscar.

I figured 9/11 would be his topic; that, and US tomfoolery in the middle east.

Everybody needs two copies of his movies. That way you have 1 to poop on and 1 to cover it up with.

bowling for columbine grossed $20,000,000 here in the u.s. and $40,000,000 worldwide, pretty good for a documentary. there is a pretty big audience for his movies out there. like most commentators, his works are either a hit or miss, but always fun to watch.

So you like to dismiss him without having to think as well. What's with all the aversion to thinking?

You're his neighbor as well? Ever get invited over for BBQ?

this should be a great movie

the subject matter hits a little close to home for some people, and the neoconservatives may start feeling like "the shoe fits" -- but people hate to face the truth, especially since many don't want to acknowledge truth and run from it.

so i say to you conservatives out there: if the shoe fits... .

plus its obviously getting closer to the hypothesized possibility/truth that 9-11 was knowingly planned, or allowed to happy, by some united states officials.

i think a movie that is blatant about that is something that the general public cannot handle, so this seems like it's hitting a close second.

its stuff that needs to be dealt with.

there is a distant possibility that george w. bush may someday be on the front page, behind bars.

don't laugh...u never know about the bush regime

EDIT: "or allowed to happy" should be "or allowed to happen" . (sorry!)

Wow, he is he going claim this film is a documentary also?

But then he recalls Jane Mayer's article in the November 2001 New Yorker about the private Saudi jet that the Bush administration permitted to fly 24 members of the bin Laden family out of the country after 9/11, before they could be questioned in detail by the F.B.I. "Here's one question I want to pose," he says. "What if on the day after Oklahoma City, Bill Clinton, suddenly worried about the safety of the McVeigh family up in Buffalo, allowed a jet to pick them all up and take them out of the country, not to return?"

Never let the Truth get in the way of a good story.

It's sad because you seem to have missed the entire point of the article. First of all his source of information was The New Yorker so if it's inaccurate blame them. But most of important of all It's not the whether the Bin Laden family was picked up the day of or after the ban, and in fact who cares?? The point is that they could have been a credible source of information and were not questioned. I mean if you were the brother to a cereal killer (which hopefully you're not) I'd hope that the police would question you? And I'd also say there is a pretty fair chance that you might have some insight into the situation.

A: I'm a cereal killer. I frequently kill cereal for breakfast. I am not, however, a serial killer.
B: He didnt even quote his innaccurate source right. And its not like he hasnt had the time since then to check his facts.
C: How do you know they werent questioned? The FBI could easily have questioned them while arranging their transport. Or made a deal with S.A. to be able to question them later, and not have to waste man-hours guarding OBLs family here in the States. Fact is, neither of us knows

I would LOVE to have a credible link about this one.....

If we put Bush in jail will you STFU? If so, I don't care if he is mother theresa's clone, lock him up already.

I spilled a bowl of cereal this morning? Am I bad person? If I was the brother of a serial killer, more than likely I would not have known about his activities. With the case of Bin Laden, I am sure the FBI knew more of his motives and capabilites than the family that disowned him could provide.

Good job at completely avoiding the issue as you obviously knew what I meant. I'm just glad that you're so confident in the FBI that you're blindly justifying what happened when the truth is you really don't know what you're talking about. You (or I) have no idea what information they could've provided or what information the FBI had so please do me a favor and don't pretend like you do. After all, none of that information helped us catch him anyways.
