And where is the link to your cut n paste?

Plus he's a fat ugly POS that couldn't get a blow job with a hundred dollar bill taped to his zipper in a whore house.

I say let them sink or swim on their own. In the long run society will be better off. The good factory workers will end up working in Toyota, Nissan, Honda or BMW plants. The slackers and the mis-managers will end up unemployed - as it should be. Survival of the fittest.
That said - If I was Obama I'd try to save one of the big three (probably Chrysler since they have the most innovative car designs - at least in appearance) just as a consolatory measure, and out of national pride. I believe we can make a good car at a fair price - if properly motivated...

*Shrug* I stopped caring and gave up after the first bailout. America as we "knew it" died. But most people didn't really know it in the first place, because if they had known it, they would have complained/wanted to change it long ago. The people who are just starting to realize how full of shit this government is are truly pathetic frogs in a pot.

As an average GM and other domestic union workers have higher productivity than Toyota workers, but don't let facts get in the way of your prejudice. I hear that union workers eat babies too.

Trains, buses, and light rail all sound great in concept...until you start digging through someone's backyard "for the good of the town/city/country". Can't wait for the emminent domain battle clubs to come out.

Love to see the proof of that claim - NOT supplied by a union source.
It's the cost of paying retired union workers that are keeping the US auto industry non competitive. How productive are retired auto workers drawing a pension? And why as a consumer do I want to pay for it? I don't.
I won't even get into the incompetence of certified Ford auto mechanics (I mistakenly bought a new Ford in 2000 - not a bad car, but horrible servicing). Fuck Friendly Ford, I hope everyone one of those cocksuckers starve to death!!!
