So he didn't give it to himself and OD, it was the Dr. that killed him by overdosing him with it.

HOUSTON - The Los Angeles County coroner ruled Michael Jackson's death a homicide, a law enforcement official told the Associated Press on Monday. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the findings have not been publicly released. A spokesperson for the coroner's office told Access Hollywood that the office had no comment on the AP report.

Dateline NBC's Josh Mankiewicz confirmed that Murray is the target of a manslaughter probe.

Meanwhile, a search warrant affidavit revealed that Jackson had lethal levels of the powerful anesthetic propofol in his system when he died in his rented Los Angeles mansion on June 25.

The document unsealed Monday allowed officials to raid the Houston offices and storage facility of Dr. Conrad Murray last month.

According to the warrant, Murray, Jackson's personal physician, had been treating the singer for insomnia with the sedative for six weeks. According to the document, Murray said he had been trying to wean Jackson off the powerful sedative by using smaller doses in combination with the sedatives lorazepam and midazolam.

On the morning Jackson died, Murray said he tried to induce sleep without using propofol, starting first with valium at 1:30 a.m. When Jackson was still awake at 2 a.m., Murray injected Jackson with lorazepam, then injected him with midazolam at 3 a.m. Murray told police he administered several other drugs over the next few hours.

Homicide or suicide? Who the heck takes anesthetic just to go to sleep?

Either he'll serve time, or Jacko's fans will make his life miserable if he's ruled innocent.

Instead of death by cop I think it was death by doctor. More or less assisted suicide. I've been saying for years he was going to kill himself and I think he did just in a way that was intended to mask it as a suicide.

At about 1:30 a.m., Murray gave Jackson 10 mg of Valium. At about 2 a.m., he injected Jackson with 2 mg of the anti-anxiety drug Ativan. At about 3 a.m., Murray then administered 2 mg of the sedative Versed. At about 5 a.m., Murray administered another 2 mg of Ativan. At about 7:30 a.m., Murray gave Jackson yet another 2 mg of Versed.

"Jackson finally went to sleep and Murray stated that he remained monitoring him. After approximately 10 minutes, Murray stated he left Jackson's side to go to the restroom and relieve himself. Murray stated he was out of the room for about 2 minutes maximum. Upon his return, Murray noticed that Jackson was no longer breathing."

Something is the fishy here. If MJ was on a regiment of pain killers and "sleep aids" those amounts wouldn't really do anything to him, and only being gone two minutes? CPR is your friend, he's trying to say as a doctor he couldn't do CPR and bring him back? I've recessed herion OD's that were out longer.

I have a few things to say. (1) This is a leak of official court documents and should not occur. Or it could be total fiction, we do not know yet.
(2) Such post Morten drug tests do take a long time to process. (3) We should not be so quick to blame M. Jackson's personal doctor, the dose
he administered in good faith may be too small to kill, but Micheal had a long history of getting drugs from multiple sources. (4) As for me, I am
not going to go off half cocked, I can wait until the credible sources have their say.

RIP for a tortured soul.

I'm not without sympathy. his family have been struggling with his drug problem for years. What needs to be found out in all this is the failure or lack of chain of custody responsibility for a deadly drug like propofol and how/why it was used out side a hospital enviroment as a sleeping aid. the usual "money" logic fails to explain how so many in the "medical professional loop" could be so reckless.

deadly drug like propofol

Because it's not normally deadly, only when people are being retards?

I don't get why people are saying this zomg scary drug (that isn't even scheduled is it? the abuse potential is pretty low lol) no one has ever heard of killed him...

You know, maybe it was a mix of that + 3 benzos + god knows what else.

Valium could be deadly too, but calling it a "deadly drug" is just fear mongering.

Rule number 1=mixing depressants is very very dangerous.

That's how the famous people die...when you hear of someone dying of a oxycontin overdose or something....it wasn't usually oxycontin. It was usually oxycontin+a valium they took a couple hours ago that they thought wore off..plus a glass of wine...etc.
