Haven't really heard what's happening recently. Have the final arguements bee completed yet or is it still ongoing?

Anyway, he probably is Guilty, but I'll let the Jury decide. The only thing I know for sure is that MJ lives in his own bizzaro reality. ;)

<---- doesn't give a sh*t

I can't believe our media continues to cover these meaningless cases like a circus.

The defense did a great job of putting a lot of questions out there.

he is going to walk.

Of course he'll likely walk, didn't OJ? I will be surprised, and pleased if he gets convicted of ANYTHING related to child molestation, even if he's just ordered to get mental help. Seriously, the guy needs help.

When the masses try a case, it goes differently than when the system tries a case. We get what we deserve when the masses try the case. We get great entertainment at a high cost in human suffering. I guess so long as it's not our families suffering, it's AOK..right? Everyone loves a good hanging, or at least a sensational storyline!

Jacko is Whacko! :|

No middle age guy with any functional brain cells can justify a passion for sleeping naked with young boys, spiking 'em with booze and showing them homoerotic porn, let alone try to convince the rest of the planet that it's strictly innocent.

The guy's just freaking sick, and he needs to be kept away from kids.

Where do you get any of THAT! Accusations do not make for reality.

MJ has got some SERIOUS mental health problems, but prsonally I think he's probably innocent of these charges. He's put himself in a precarious position by a) being filthy rich, and b) associating with kids with maipulative and unscrupulous parents. Hell you take a risk associating with kids no matter who you are these days. When it comes to accusations like that it's generally guilty until proven innocent, and adolescents aren't immune to being manipulative, greedy, and cruel.

Jackson is bizzare and kind of "out there", but he's not stupid. And if he REALLY wanted to sleep with 12 year old boys, he (of anyone) could gain citizenship in the numerous countries where the age of consent is that low. He wouldn't be doing stuff in the very community where the heat was on him, with a prosecutor that has been pining after taking him down for years!

The whole thing just doesn't add up, and this family has a proven history of working over people/entities with money, including flat out lying, for financial gain. Their credibility is shot. I haven't heard all the testimony and such, but from what I know about this case, I would not be able to vote guilty if I were on the jury.

Besides, if he's convicted how can we ever enjoy his great classics. :p

If it *DID* happen, and he's exonerated? Well, then the moral of the story is DON'T lie and manipulate others for money, lest a jury not believe you when something really DOES happen that could net you a crap load of money.

My gut instinct says he MAY not be guilty of molestation... of course I don't know for sure. He's nuts, and his "handlers" are sometimes shady which has hurt him also, but I think he does have an fairly "innocent" yet deranged Peter Pan thing going.

However, I think the jury will definately come back guilty on the serving liquor to children and PROBABLY guilty of the molestation. I think so much comes to to sympathy... OJ = sympathetic, Scott Peterson = unsympathetic, Michale Jackson = unsympathetic because besides being late several times to court and wearing pajamas, he comes across as a weirdo and the jury just won't relate.

From his own admissions on the "explanation" tape he produced and introduced into evidence. From the court recorded testimony of other witnesses who stated unequivocally that they had witnessed him giving alcohol to severl minors. These are more than accusations. They are in the public record.

When you're dealing with a sick mind, it doesn't have to make sense to be true. It just has to be true to convict him, and the evidence is very strong that he's had a pattern of such behavior for years.

I don't wish him any harm, and with any luck, he'll get some psych help. The fact is, he's a danger to children and should be recognized as such.

So your are telling me, that Jackson made an "explanation tape" where he admits to sleeping NAKED with young boys, serving them alcohol, and showing them homo-erotic porn! I SERIOIUSLY doubt that.

What HISTORY are you talking about? The accusation 10 years ago? If true and he skated on that one, then WHY stay in the area with a prosecutor that is gunning for you, only to do it again, and then making a TV interview where you admit to sleeping with children (which CAN be completely innocent - unless you are telling me that if YOU ever slept with a child you wouldn't be able to keep your hands out of his/her pants). Many people enjoy the innocent affection of children, doesn't mean they want to have SEX with them!

And, I believe the defense presented JUST as many witnesses to suggest that the plantiff and his family and their witnesss are lying or mistaken.

If it weren't for the high profile media coverage and MJ's money and fame, this would be just another back page piece of garbage, and the only important issue would be whether he molested the kids.

It really isn't interesting enough to me to go back over everything that's been out in the media to assign each piece of evidence to each accusation. If it makes that much difference to you, you can waste your own time on it. :p
