I'm thinking this was one big conspiracy by ESPN simply to boost ratings. Apparently, they've already said he will continue to be a member of the GameDay crew.

Yeah he intentionally got arrested for an outstanding warrant to have them find a crack pipe with the potential to server jailtime as a repeat offender...just to boost ratings.

Wow. Brilliant.

Woah, I guess my subtle attempt at sarcasm was lost.

Sorry, I'm used to all the conspiracy theories some of the idiots have on ATOT. I thought you were being serious :)

No biggie, after reading my response again, it does seem a little bit too over the top. ;)

He probably still does drugs, but he could be telling the truth about the crack pipe.

He is lying. If he wasn't, he would have done a drug test right then and there.

BTW, who really cares if he smokes crack. I like him as an analyst for the NFL, and as long as he shows up and does his work, who cares if he does drugs. Its not like he is the president or something.

He's lying....it was easy to tell from his interview with stuart scott. It's just too bogus that it's his friends and that he didn't want to throw it away in his trash can because somebody might dig through it and find it. And seriously, take a drug test if it's not yours. I bet more than crack would show up in it

Why would he even have to throw it in his trash can. Most crack pipes are made of glass. Smash it, but it in a paper towel or bag, and put it in your trash. I doubt anyone is going to take his shards of glass and forensically reconstruct them.

Two of the lamest excuses you can give a cop when you are pulled over.

"It's not mine. It's a friends."
"I already sent payment for that ticket."

He looked a little crunked up to me on Sunday Countdown during the Shaun Alexander segment. I could barely understand what he was saying.....of course, that is all the time with Irvin anyways. ;)

If his 'friend' doesn't come forward to clear MI's name, its a lie.

And if he doesn't come forward, and MI doesn't take a test to save his rep., its only more obvious.

I hope the DA charges him.
