I read that the EFF lawsuit against Michael Crook was settled out of court so I checked out his blog to see what he had to say and found this gem.

Basically he gave up his child to CPS because it was cramping his style.

I am not willing to put up with the sleepless nights, the sicknesses, and all the attention a kid needs. I simply won?t do it anymore. It?s cramping my style.

I have the God-given right to get drunk when and where I choose, and party when and how I choose.

Ever since I became a parent, I?ve had to be ?responsible?, and not drink excessively if at all. Parents can?t do that. And that sucks.

He is an internet griefer who became famous when he appeared on Hannity and Colmes talking about how much he hates our troops. Long story short, people on the internet used screencaps from that interview to make fun of him. He got mad and sent fake DMCA notices to the sites hosting the pictures to get them to take the pictures down. Turns out Fox owns the right to the images and he can't do anything about it. The EFF sued him, they settled out of court and he had to make this.

He has done a bunch of other stuff like creating fake Craigslist ads to "trap and expose" people looking for sex.
