Woo, another black meets white movie  That said, I guess I'd watch it (though I wouldn't pay to do so) simply for all the gratuitous Ferrari shots they'll likely try to hide the movie's crappiness with... and because I used to kinda like the show :p

Bad Boys 1 & 2. Mike Lowery is essentially a white person in these movies & Martin Lawrence gets to play the part of black cop once again.

I'm sorry but I can't see Jaime Foxx playing Tubbs nor can I see Tom Cruise playing Crockett. They already fvcked up Starsky and Hutch, what's next?

I am convinced Hollywood will eventually remake and f^ck up every movie ever filmed that made any respectable amount of money in its heyday. Following this cycle, and knowing they still have no fresh ideas, they will again repeat the cycle around 2040.

I offer this example as exhibit A.

Naw, I think it's just a phase... people will get sick of it before long and Hollywood will just find a different template with which to crank movies out.

Since when was Starsky and Hutch a comedy with a little action thrown in?

Cedric the Entertainer is funny, but I think its sad they are already remaking a Rodney Dangerfield classic movie....No Respect.. :|

I think that'd be great, actually. Mann is a fine, underrated director, and watching the reruns, I find the original show surprisingly dark and nuanced. Obviously Tom Cruise is a huge star, but he's also a highly talented actor IMO (think Rain Man, or the brilliant Magnolia), and Foxx is also shaping up as a surprising talent. Put them in a Ferrari 430 or Enzo, and I'll be a happy camper!
