<<"Let them make their decision," Miami's spectacular Santana Moss said. "But remember this: The University of Miami deserves to be No. 2 in the BCS.">>

There's no deserve about it! They may deserve to be number 2 in the AP and Coaches Poll, but they aren't number 2 in the BCS. All this talk is going to undermine what the BCS is supposed to do: pick the number 1 and 2 teams in the country. Let's face it, the whole state of Florida is messed up! :p

WRONG! HAR HAR HAR!

Going by that reasoning, Washington should be ahead of Miami since they beat Miami and have the same record.

A playoff system would be cool. The first round of playoff games could be lower tier bowls. As you move up in the playoffs, you move on to better bowl games. What would be awesome about this is that college football seaon would be that much longer. ;)

Is it a question of off time between playoff matches that would prevent a system like this? You can't expect teams to play every day or two.

Yes, that's why they should extend the season a few weeks. Depending on how many teams participate etc, you could add 4 or 5 more weeks for the playoffs and championship game.
