I'm thinking of using my LG G3 (or Nexus 10 tablet) as a RDP client to my main PC (offsite). The general idea is to achieve the same experience as if I'd be using a PC.

This is what I want:
1. RDP client on the phone (obviously) - found many on the play store, seems there's no problem here
2. 2560x1440 video resolution (same as phone, same as my 27" monitor)
3. Connect USB keyboard / mouse to the phone
4. Charge the phone while using this

I started looking for a MHL cable and got confused right there: most listings on ebay list "specific" models as compatible with a particular cable - usually they're SG Sx (all variants). This broad range suggests the cable might be universally compatible, but I thought I should ask first than be sorry later.

Next question is that most of these listings specifically mention a resolution like 1080p. Is this really what those adapters can handle? Or is the max resolution tied to device rather than adapter? I've read N10 also downscales to 1080p over mHDMI, so I guess I'm no better off there.

Then there's #3 and #4: can I even do that? There is mention of USB connector on these adapters, but more like a client for charging. Can I connect that to an USB HUB and add mouse / kbd?

Anyone with experience enough to tell me what I'm getting myself into? Or suggest a better way?
