mgetty/pppd HOWTO's?

Im trying to setup a dial-in server on a box running RedHat 7.2, using the stock kernel.
Now, I've done this once before, but that was on RH 5.x, and unfortunately most documents seem to cover versions from that time as well, so Im having some problems.

I've set it up as best as I've been able, and the dialin itself works, however, AutoPPP doesn't work, and starting pppd manually doesnt work either.

Does anyone know of any good, uptodate guides or howto's about this?
