Ok, it first started with my one partition for mp3's being highly corrupted(75%) and I had very little free disk space(10% free), so I could not run a defrag. So I moved about 3gigs of files to another partition and ran my defrag, everything seemed to go fine. but after i moved all the files back, every file I moved became inaccessible. I couldnt copy, cut, move, or open them at all. But now ALL of my files on that partition are unaccesible. I think it may be a MFT problem, I have run chkdsk, but it did not fix anything, I re installed windows on my OS partition and still no go for accessing them files. I really need to get some help on how to fix this, because i dont want to lose 10gigs of music. please help me!

When you run a chkdsk /r on the volume what are the results? If it's a boot drive and needs to restart, the results will be in a Winlogon event in your application log. Post the results here.
