They're probably still mad about California, and Texas who they still considered rightfully theirs, and the fact that so much of their economy depends on us... and drugs.

Mexico is prime example of what huge income inequality, low regulation, lack of social safety net, and system wide corruption of the political system does to a country to make it a unbearable shithole. You don't see too many Canadians running off to US, eh?
Actually a lot of Canadians run off to the US, but the opposite end of the scale when compared to Mexico. Mexicans come to the US out of desperation. Canadians come ot the US in order to better leverage their education. Poor Canadians know they are better off in Canada but educated Canadians, especially those from lower and middle class homes, come to the US all the time. "Brain drain" is a regular theme in Canadian education and economic policy discussion.

I think we need a wuliheron-translator because I honestly got lost trying to figure out what his posts meant.

I'm saying he can understand how Mexicans keep a straight face when they criticize US boarder policy because the US does the same thing when it criticizes illegal immigrants.

We don't need a huge fence or high tech boarder patrol to keep them out when merely stopping people from hiring them will do the trick. They aren't coming here escaping political or religious persecution or whatever. They're coming here for jobs and all it would take is a single law to stop people from hiring anyone who doesn't have serious ID.

It's the equivalent of trying to stop the drug traffic by occasionally throwing a kid who smokes a joint in jail, while giving the drug dealers a slap on the wrist.

You're right, America does have the best higher education system in the world... it's just other areas that leave alittle to be desired.
