She even turned down Federal aide to come in and help with law enforcement BEFORE the Hurricane hit and she said no. SO before people go off on George W. at least have a clue and know the FACTS. I think the larger issue is as follows:

Almost half the nation didn't vote for Bush. so he is going to be under scrutiny at all times. To the point now where EVERYTHING is his fault. The reality is that the STATE is responsible for their own evacuation procedures. She turned down early assistance from the federal government to begin with. It sickens me beyond belief when I see liberal leftists going off on how Bush did this and that and it is all his fault.

And when I don't deal with liberals who are still screaming rip off in 2000 (which is the real hatred of Bush. By the way, let it go Bush won) I got to deal with the right wingers going off on Clinton and the Lewinsky thing which was irrelevant to the time period. We wasted millions, and MILLIONS of dollars trying to impeach Clinton for something that could have been dealt with AFTER his presidency...


Where does it all stop? What about those of us who think all Republicans and Democrats and their partisan politics stink and we just want things to get solved? That is what is wrong with this country.

What is sad is this has turned into a Bush bashing in order to pad liberal politics in this instance instead of looking at the tragedy that happened and realize that there was a lot of people at fault and the VAST MAJORITY was at the state level. All the Bush bashers will just have to deal with that. But don't worry a Democrat will be president again at some point and the Republicans will scream how incompetent so and so is... <sigh> It never ends....
