in theory,
1) Alaskan Crab
2) Maine Lobster
3) everything else

but in practice, due to the price of the crab and the smaller size of the meal,
1) Maine Lobster
2) Alaskan Crab
3) everything else

Mayne Lobster to me has to be cooked perfectly to be decent. Even then crab is much better

"Mayne lobster"? Ummm... those are called crabs. They look like lobsters because Mayne refuses to get the kit to get rid of them.

I don't know if they are good to eat. Mayne might know.

Butter on crab or lobster is like using A1 sauce on a steak. You only use it on cheap steak. If you want butter with your crab or lobster, dip it in crab/lobster innards. Yellow fat and green liver are awesome butter substitute. Mix it with pasta, rice, or scoop it up with bread.

I've never had fresh King Crab, only previously frozen but it's still quite good. For me, fresh Dungeness crab is the best

Crab is the best! Went to an all you can eat Chinese buffet and ate nothing but crab. Was delicious!

I am disappoint, not a single person caught it.

Mexican shrimp vs Alaskan king crab vs <redacted> lobster
We saw it. But like the effect of saying "Beetlejuice" enough times, we didn't want to bring attention to it.

you are implying that people do not eat the innards of lobsters. but that would make them not-people. so your argument is invalid.

I prefer the flavor of slipper lobster over Mayne (or Maine) lobster, and I'm not all that excited by king crab, dungeness is much better. The big mexican white shrimp are really good though.

So: Mexican shrimp >> maine lobster = king crab

Wait, Mayne is a lobster? That would explain quite a bit.

1) Sea Scallops, the big ones
2) Lobster Tails (at least 9 oz.)
3) Alaskan King Crab (I'd settle for Queen cause I've never had either)
4) Mexican shrimp (only if it's been de-veined; I have no desire to eat shrimp shit)

I like Dungeness Crab myself.

Used to catch some really HUGE spiny lobsters at North Shore on Oahu on the weekends with relatives, they weren't as tasty as Maine lobster I'd say, but they were HUGE.

On of my favorites is an odd shrimp they had at a place when we used to go to the Cape.

Rock Shrimp I believe they were called.

Yeah that was the ones, I love those.

Check out this place if you're ever in the Cape Canaveral area.

I might have to look for some of those over on this side.

Tasty little buggers.

I've read varying things about those over time.

Some seems to like them, I think a lot of Marines in the Pacific WWII shot em and tried to cook em and hated them.

Maybe they weren't doing it right I guess.

One hell of a big crab at any rate.

Lobster is way overrated. I prefer king, dungeness or snow crab over lobster. Mud crab in Asia is good too.

I do pick those up now and again, I still really like the Rock shrimps.

And Large Prawns I love also.

My grandmother and I used to get shrimp a lot when we all went out, my grandfather just always called em fish bait :)
