Sounds good to me. Try playing around with any other country's border guards. You will be shot upon assaulting an officer, as it should be.

What Pat'sanus is suggesting is murder.

No, it is defending ones property.

I guess is someone breaks into your house you shouldn't care.

"trespassers will be shot"

Its amazing that a citizen can get shot for entering a "restricted" military installation but someone cannot be shot for illegally invading the country.

Stand still. Let me throw a rock at you. I get to choose the rock.

In America you can and should shoot people throwing rocks at you. They are deadly force.

Rocks can take out an eye; fracture a skull; break a leg; do severe damage to your spine or ribs. All of these injuries can lead to life-threatening injuries that can also cause economic hardship for the victim and his family. Yeah, I think it's worth killing over.

what happens when yu shoot the person who throws a rock and you and then the bullet passes thru and hits someone else. Would they be allowed to pull their gun and shoot you? I'm super cereal. Would you not be allowed to shoot them back because you kinda started it? Or would they now be fair game?

Of course you do, you don't have the common sense or decency you were hatched with.

You're right, I don't have decency for anyone throwing rocks and thinking it's harmless. No need to insult people because your heart bleeds for the illegal.

Is it really an insult when its accurate? I'm all for getting the illegals out of the country but killing them, especially when they are in their own country, is going way too far.

No it isn't and the border is nominal when your are right there. The two may have only been feet apart when he was throwing the rocks, which the BP saw as a continued threat. A lot of that area is dry low grass so the BP may have had nowhere to go for cover. You would have been in an uproar if he went across the border and beat the shit out of the kid so he could only respond one other way and that was with his weapon. That kid, by his actions, seemed like trouble. Instead of returning home he chose to attack the BPs who were doing their jobs. IMHO, he definitely deserved what he got.

I wouldn't fire if there was something beyond my intended target I did not intend to destroy, one of those firearm rules thing. Also jacketed hollow points lose most all over their energy in the body anyway.

To the people that think this wasn't justified. We will give you a gun and throw rocks at you, remember you can't use it, just stand there.

"This agent, who had the second subject detained on the ground, gave verbal commands to the remaining subjects to stop and retreat," Simmons said. "However, the subjects surrounded the agent and continued to throw rocks at him. The agent then fired his service weapon several times, striking one subject who later died."

Simmons told CNN earlier that she did not know whether the person who was shot was on the Mexican or U.S. side of the border, but that the agent never left U.S. territory.

The body was found on the Mexican side of the border, Simmons said.

This doesn't add up. I'll wait for more information.

How do you think our long long long ago ancestors killed each other before the invention of swords and other weapons? Smashed each other skulls with rocks. Rocks can be very deadly if placed correctly.

So you're OK with the BP shooting that kid across the border because he was throwing rocks from a distance where it wasn't the least bit deadly:rolleyes:

Read the article.

"This agent, who had the second subject detained on the ground, gave verbal commands to the remaining subjects to stop and retreat," Simmons said. "However, the subjects surrounded the agent and continued to throw rocks at him. The agent then fired his service weapon several times, striking one subject who later died."

The FBI said the "area where this incident occurred is a known high-risk crime area where rocks are regularly thrown at Border Patrol agents and where other assaults have been reported

This wasn't one kid throwing a pebble from across the border.

Isn't there a thread right now in P&N about a 13 year old girl getting stoned to death? Did you think they meant that they were forcing her to smoke a ton of marijuana?

I didn't say that his life wasn't worth shit because he was a Mexican. I'm saying that if you go to any other country, their border security is much more stringent than ours. Mexican border patrol (or whatever they're called) will shoot Americans for throwing rocks at them. Fuck double standards.
