Mets win 3 in a row.

They are in 3rd place at the moment. Amazing.. the first 2 games against Arizona they go against two total BUMS and lose.. but win against studs like Johnson and Webb. Now they beat up on Oswalt..go figure. Next up will be Pettite and Clemens. The Mets have actually done very well against Clemens and Piazza totally owns him so I could see the Mets giving The Rocket his first loss of the season.

.... i hope Piazza hits a bunch of homers off of Clemens! 😀

btw: Its great to see Cliff Floyd back. Here's hoping he'll stay injury free for the rest of the season

ya, but glavine was AMAZING vs randy johnson. what is it about that guy, getting wins to break losing streaks for his teams. i don't know if there is any statistics to back it up, but it seems that he did it a lot for the braves.

as a Braves fan, I always hated Glavine's pitching style for some reason. He always pitched outside, and everytime I watched his starts it felt like he threw a ton of balls.

Can't deny his success though. And a great person too

actually, the great pitchers all pitch borderline strike/ball. they just convince the umps that the balls outside are strikes. 🙂

a pitcher that throws too many balls right down the middle of the plate likely won't succeed, unless he has LOTS of movement on a 93mph fastball.

agreed.. Glavine has been fantastic this season. I hope he can keep this up for the rest of the season and that game with him vs Johnson was phenomenal and a perfect example of how great baseball is. Nothing better than a pitchers duel between two great pitchers destined for the hall of fame.

wow, who would have thunk that the mets would be capable and it all started against randy johnson too.

you need to have faith in the mets for them to win. Once you believe in the amazin's they will pull through. GO METS! 2047 WORLD SERIES CHAMPS!

Carbo is a whole lot of a loser. His fans... well he doesn't have any. Check the standings... obviously there are bigger losers.

ANYWAY... I'll start watching when Reyes is back. What's up with him ?

yea he is probably a Red Sox fan, who would rather take out his aggression on us instead of Bill Buckner(my favorite player ever 🙂 )

oh and I heard they want to take Reyes to some magic miracle worker for his hamstring(or whatever it is) so that they can fix the problem.

I never understood feeling bad for teams that are supposed to be bad...

I would feel bad for the Yankee fans if their superstar team didn't even make it to the grand finale. And I'd laugh at the same time.

WHAT'S UP WITH REYES ?!
