Okay, I'm in need of help here...

In the Chozo Ruins there are two areas that I can't access. One is the lava pit area but I need the grapple beam to make it across. The other is blocked by a door that I need a plasma wave for. Are these two items available in Chozo Ruins are should I just go on to the next level w/ the elevator?

Also how many missiles did you have when you finished the Chozo ruins?

I would do a guide search on google but I don't want to know EVERYTHING. :p

If you guys need help or any questions also lets all just post in one thread. :D

This game is awesome. A must own for any GC owners. Thanks.

Yes, move along. There's a hint mode which should be enabled by default -- look for the ? icon in your map to see where you need to head next (this is the "Scanning..."/Hit Z to see map message you'll see from time to time).

You don't actually "finish" the Chozo ruins; there are quite a few areas which are still inaccessible, and you will have to return to them even after moving to different zones.

I think I had on the order of 30 missiles when I first left the Chozo Ruins.

OMG I'm stuck already and I just started the game :(

First off, how do I SAVE?

Secondly, I'm running around in that first building looking at all these different species. I get to this door and it says "Insert Metallic Sphere" and I'm like WTF because I don't have one. Where is it and how do I get it?

This game is almost confusing....

LOL... wow that made my day... youd think they had made it obvious enough... "insert metalic sphere" and upon scanning it "approxmately 1 meter in diameter, along with a floating image of the ball. LOL
