Metro Last Light Microstutter

I have a single GPU, but I'm getting microstutter in this game (Fraps shows solid 60 fps but the framerate feels lower sometimes/choppier).

I remember once having the issue with Skyrim, setting Max pre-rendered frames to 1 fixed it. But that doesn't seem to do anything with metro.

Anyone know a fix?

(Just to clarify, I mean microstutter the way you know it, game is choppy but framerate is 60, not intermittent stutter).

If you're running an AMD card, make sure you disable Phys-X! Was causing some issues for me the first few times I ran it. Now it's nice and smooth.

I have an Nvidia card, but Hory Shit! Disabling advanced PhysX killed the microstutter!

Way it's meant to be played my ass. From now on I'll go AMD all the way.

Too weak and too old to turn on PhysX with all the other effects in that game.

Ah forget it...

Thought OP knew you have to upgrade GPU every 1.5 years minimum to avoid microstutter and other software related issues.

Shame on you OP.

Lol...yeah, no.

It did the same thing on mine, turning off advanced Physx solved the issue for me. Didn't notice any change and the game was absolutely beautiful (everything else was on high).

This was on a 670GTXSC 4GB btw.
