Metro 2033 Redux - stuttering with Advanced Physx enabled

When I enable Advanced Physx in Metro 2033 Redux i get some pretty bad stuttering, despite my FPS counter showing a locked 60 fps.

Anybody else experienced similar?

Hmm, seems to be working fine today. Either it was my Max Pre Rendered Frames settings (which I've now disabled) or my PC just needed a reboot to sort the Physx out.

Best,

Do you overclock? Some games won't be able to handle the clocks that other games run fine.

I run my 980 at 1500mhz but with some games it needs more voltage than others. Usually the more demanding the game, I need max voltage. Either that or I drop the overclock to 1450 and leave the voltage on auto, which I have been doing since I updated afterburner. I have been too lazy to go into the settings and unlock voltage control.

Anyway, I don't see it brought up much but OC instability can cause stuttering and hitching.
