Metro 2033: Last Light Announced, Trailer Unleashed

Horrible trailer

It would be nice to see more then 0.25 seconds of game footage at a time

I liked the song for it though

That being said, I look forever to it, I enjoyed Metro 2033 a lot and found the atmosphere terrific.

Made the mistake of buying the first one opening week at full price. Not doing that again...

To be fair there looked to be a few scenes of outdoor gameplay. I'm interested at least. I enjoyed the story even if it was a bit slow and plodding. The atmosphere more than made up for it.

It's not a trailer, its a teaser. Just a little something to reassure the fans they're working on something and to make others ask, "What the fuck was that?"

I'm a little disappointed because the rumor was they were already working on Metro 2034 and now I find out they've only just started working on a sequel to 2033. Still, can't wait to play the game.

I got the first one for free and still feel ripped off.

Unless they fixed the Ai and the ability for enemies to walk through you and walls i think i'll wait till it hits $5 on sale then might buy it for the visual effects only. Oh and making the weapons actually differnt in effect not just looks might be a good idea to.

Love the teaser trailer and the way it was edited with the music.

The game, however, does nothing for me. I am averse to apocalyptic-themed games in general. There is so much beauty out there; trees, leaves, and babes to be immersed in end-of-the-world type nonsense. That is why I love Bad Company 2 so much. It's bright, lush with greenery, and generally upbeat although it is a shooter. BF3 or bust!

Metro 2033 was one of the most enjoyable FPS experiences I've ever had.. Hopefully the sequel uses more DX11 enhancements like driver command lists for increased performance, and better use of tessellation and hardware physx.

This isn't a trailer. It's a teaser. And showing .25 seconds of footage at a time is pretty typical for teasers these days.

That said, I will very likely pre-order this one. Metro 2033 was a very memorable experience for me, and probably my favorite game of 2010. Even more amazing was that it was 4A's debut title, their first-ever game; impressive considering the massive technical achievement (it's a beautiful game, and a system-killer for most people.)

The devs say this time around it will be much more polished, and feature more open environments. Sign me up.

Call it whatever you want, they called it a trailer and even if it wasn't, it was horrible.
