What are the odds of a fraudenlt buyer paying via a Money order? Once I cash the MO that's it, there's no way to undo it right? I know with personal checks it can take up to 10 days to clear and sometime if things aren't kosher a few months down the line they can take the money back from you.

Would a Western Union transfer be better(assuming the buyer orginally agreed to do a MO)

sadly forged/stolen money orders are becoming commonplace. Some of these can take a month to clear, and if it doesn't your bank will pull the money out of your account.

Doesn't western union places cash their own money orders?
They should be able to tell if it's good or not right?
What about Postal Money orders?

Are WU Transfers "secure" like cash? Meaning the funds are good.

WU transfers, once you "recieve" it and cash it out are irreversible. Which why many fraud sellers use it.

On the other end of that, they're great for legitimate sellers for the very same reason.

Also, if you receive a MO, take it to the place that issued it. If it's WU, take it there and they should be able to verify if it is legit. If it's USPS, take it there and you can cash it right away. If it's not legit, the USPS will be VERY interested, considering it's a federal offense against whoever made the fake..

I'll keep that in mind.
