Hi!

I've come across many products (like "DU Meter") that can measure the throughput being received by any network adapter on my PC.

But, what I really want is a meter to show the current throughput being received by the router of my home LAN from the cable modem (ie the throughput of the cable modem itself).

Does anyone know of such a product?

can you use docsdiag on the modem? if you have SNMP read access you can setup mrtg or another snmp viewer to track bandwidth.

some routers have this feature built in. others have applications made specifically for them, linksys logger being the most popular.
