Personally I think it's wrong behavior, I'd rather them be educated as to why it's unacceptable in the culture/country they live in vs. kicked out. At some point people need to learn to live in harmony within the cultures they choose to be a part of. I'd say the same thing to you if you were choosing to live in the middle east and having a pig roast every night.

But nobody is going to the middle east to live, from the west... for the most part. Usually if someone goes there it's for idealistic "let's help these people stop living like this" reasons.

Why is all the immigration pretty much one direction?

Because the Islamic world is a shit hole.

Why would we allow people who have no intention of conforming, and want to bring this ideology to immigrate to our countries and drag them down in the process?

I agree the majority of the middle east is a shithole and that immigration is a one way street. I do not think however most immigrants come here for any reason than to try and enjoy our freedoms and opportunity of which they are welcome.

The issue is compounded by our own actions abroad.

I was fortunate enough to live in a house with two friends 1999 to 2002.
The owner of the house was a few years younger than I am and Palestinian, he also had several Muslim friends that would hang out around the house too. It was very frat like, partys, women etc.

The morning of 9/11 I woke up went into the living room to see the tv on, 2 Americans and three Muslim Americans on the couches watching it. All 5 good friends of mine.

I won't get into the days of discussions and emotions surrounding it, just state that most folks from the region love Americans but hate our government to the core.

Frankly given everything since I can't say I blame them much and share some of the disdain for the us government.

I think if our government and its values were more a reflection of the populace, America could regain the moral high ground it once held, because the people do hold that high ground.

I don't condone terrorist or fanatics and neither do the Muslims I know. I also don't condone a laundry list of government actions over the last few decades.
 
The way to deal with this issue is send those immigrants back to wherever they came from, Europe is being run over and we cant stand by and let this happen

Why do we, in the West, think that equality and OUR constitution should be applied to everyone, everywhere? Thats foolish thinking, and a pipe dream at best. A very successful person I know once said if you dont have real and attainable goals, you will fail. This current midset that other cultures should adopt Western thinking, as well as share our views on equality, is not an attainable goal. Its wishful thinking.

As much as this story is sad and too bad, its Spain. Not us. If we're going to pick a country to work with and try to instill our values and beliefs on, why not take on our largest trading partner and largest violator of human rights?
