Have not seen one yet, but it's clear skies, so I'll wait a bit longer and try. I still see a bit of light from the sun's reflection in the atmosphere. (it's long gone, mind you as it's 11)

The best time is around 3 am local time, assuming that the sun isn't rising at that time where you are.

And at 2-3 am PDT the earth will be going through a particularly dense comet trail which could really light the sky up
