Metallica fans - your favorite song?

I wasn't the biggest Metallica fan, well, ever, but I have heard some stuff on the radio that seemed pretty damn good.. but I don't know which songs they were. I have Unforgiven I and II, they're alright... but I'm thinking something faster and crazier. Any ideas? Which songs/albums would you suggest? What are your favorites?

ive been a metallica fan for almost 10 years so i know what stuff is good and whats ok - generally their older stuff is alot better but they got a lot of good songs on load,reload but they are nothing like they were back in the 80's.
take a look at master, justice for all, and lightning for their best albums
some great songs:

whiplash (more thrashy)

I feel old when I realize that I bought Master the week it came out...16 years ago.

Whiskey in the Jar is an Irish drinking song. Thin Lizzie did a version (which Metallica based their version on), but it is not a Thin Lizzie song.
