Metal polish is your friend

So I 'm just gonna lay this out there and get ready to be flamed

Also I do not recommend that you do this unless you are willing to accept bad results for being impatient and incompetent

I've been rocking my 3007wfp-hc for a while now and after collecting some finger prints and dust its kind of lost its OMG factor to me and have begin to experiment with removal of the matte finish and the results are starting to pay off. I have found a product that is gentle enough to successfully remove the finish very delicately and still leave the screen looking good. BlueMagic metal polishing cream is it. It's best to use something soft to put it on cause a lot of cloths can be more abrasive than this cream and scratch your finish !!!

I have been polishing metal for quite a few years so I have a fairly firm grasp on what not to do. You should see my engine bay in the Gti =). You must use similar techniques since you *will* be staring at your screen a lot, lol.

The reason why I started this in the first place is cause I hated the "raspberry" look of the screen. Anybody who owns one knows what I'm talking about even though you do get used to it.

Just as a heads up, the results do look worse initially cause the surface will reflect light differently than the areas around it until it gets to the same finish. Once you get through the finish the monitor has the crispest image you ever seen. The sparkly effect is completely gone, I love it

Anybody else try something like this?

Before anybody ask's I've tried to get a picture but It's hard to show on camera.

Anyhow, just wanted to share the info ans see if anybody care's.

Off to read one of the many nvidia doom and gloom threads or AMD drivers suck posts. =)
