Metal Gear Solid 3 for PC ?

Does anyone here know if MSG 3 Snake eater is expected to be launched for the PC anytime soon ?

I'm a big fan of the MSG series but right now a can't play Snake eater because my PS2 died last year.Well it is not totally dead but let's say that 1 game out of 10 work.The rest i just get black screens and no it is not my lens that is dirt.

I certainly don't want to spend another 200 bucks on an old PS2 when the PS3 is supposed to come out next year and also considering that i bought a new comp this year.

Anyway , i am pretty sure that MSG 3 will probably look much better on my 6800 GT at high resolutions with 4 x AA 8x AF ON than on the PS2 .

So is anyone have any info on MSG SE for PC ?

I just really hope that it won't take an eternity

considering there have been no other MG games on PC it's a pretty safe bet to say...NO

Metal Gear 2 Substenence came out for PC

You can get it on DVD or on 7 cd

I am not sure about MSG 1 but i also think that there is a PC version

both mgs1 and 2 have gone on to the pc.

as for mgs3, i wouldn't keep my hopes up that mgs3 will be available on the pc any time soon. the first platform it would jump to is the xbox or the cube and that will take at least one year. factor in all the other platforms and your probably looking at a good 2-3 years b4 it comes to the pc, if it does that is.

and btw, mgs3 is by far imho, the best game in the series.

Well , it is already official that there will be a PC version (and i haven't heard anything for the Cube or Xbox yet)

The big question is : When ?

There seem to be absolutely no information anywhere on this.

All i can find is the confirmation of a PC version

But , i think that you are right

MSG2 Substance came out on the PC 3 years after the original Sons of Liberty on the PS2 so i guess that it probably will be the similar for MSG 3

As for it beingthe best of the series , that's pretty much what everyone is saying.Apparently the game kills

Oh well , at least GTA San Andreas will come out for the PC in June so that should keep me busy for a while.

in my opinion, your much better off spending the 150 (not 200, the price dropped a few months ago). most of the fun and excitement is lost during the transition from the console to the pc. everybody's talked about it and played it already. and the waiting im sure you is bound to kill you.

i don't think you have to worry about the next ps console since ps3 is at least 2 years away. my prediction is it will launch in the fall of 06. so a new ps2 console will last you a good 20 months.
