Right probably the wrong forum but i'd like a quick response

I'm at the bit where i fight the Metal Gear RAY's and i've destroyed 4 and though hey, exactly how many are there? and is there any good tactic i can use?

Don't remember how many, but wait for the rays to fire a laser attack or whatever causes them to open their "mouths". Hit them in the mouth with a stinger and it hurts them a LOT more. All I did was dodge all the attacks and when it was about to fire the laser I'd dodge it and immediately fire a stinger at the open mouth. You need to run close to it to get it to fire the laser though.
