New Demons & Wizards album is coming
Teaser clip

I'm listening to *ahem* sound clips right now, and it is quite good. Their playing is even tighter than on the first album. Now this is good metal.

Late June will see the release of the new Demons & Wizards CD "Touched By The Crimson King" with the following tracks:

Crimson King
Beneath These Waves
Terror Train
Seize The Day
The Gunslinger
Love's Tragedy Asunder
Wicked Witch
Dorian
Down Where I Am
Immigrant Song (Led Zeppelin cover)
For the digipack release there will be a bonus CD with the following songs:

Lunar Lament
Wicked Witch (slow version)
Spatial Architects
Beneath These Waves (radio edit)
Contrary to some rumors this is NOT a concept album based on the Dark Tower series of Stephen King, but merely contains some songs related to it.

Err, those MAKE power metal 😛
Iced Earth/BG vocals don't really appeal to me though.
Dragonforce have much better vocals IMO. Here fir a couple of sample songs.

Thanks for the update. I've been anticpating this album for over three years. Demons and Wizards was one of the only times I've ever bought a used CD because of the cover art. I was expecting crap, but came out of it with a great love for the album, and naturally led to my discovery of Blind Guardian. Now one of my favorite bands ever. Don't care for Iced Earth though...

Saw Hansi and the rest of BG in Chicago two years ago. He had the flu, but it was still intense to see them in person in such a small theater.

You go to hell! You go to hell and you die!

Power metal is where it's at.

Yeh, I have been an Iced Earth fan for 8 years now...they are my favorite band ever! Blind Guardian is also at teh top of my list, right below D&W, I absolutely love Schaffer's song writing. Tim Owens is going to bring Iced Earth to the level of competing with the more popular power metal, Maiden and Priest...Owens pwnz Halford!! w00t

w00t w00t...released today...downloaded last night, will be at BB 10 AM to buy it; I just couldn't wait for the release to listen! w00t, I am getting my Set Abominae tattoo tomorrow, although prolly just the outline for a few days.
