[Meta] How are C2Q's holding up in 2015?

I know more games now are demanding 4 cores, and the LGA775 Core 2 Quads have 4 cores. Can they play modern games at a reasonable frame rate?

Frame rate has a lot more to do with it than just CPU. Ram, GPU, bus speed, what game engine, what game, etc.

My Q9650 ran battlefield 3 fine. Demo on BF4 was fine. Same with star citizen.
