Met Neil Strauss last night...

We have a mutual friend and met at a dinner party. He seems like a really nice guy and his girlfriend is absolutely gorgeous and a sweetheart to boot.

He invited me to attend one of his "pick up artist" seminars this upcoming weekend. Has anyone here been to one and if so, what is it like? Were there any other females in attendance? I've read "The Game" and am curious about more of the psychology behind it. It should be an informative and interesting experience, to say the least! 🙂

Dude it's not a scam it works😡 Just ask anyone who tried it

I'm pretty sure they'd be just as/more successful by going up and actually *gasp* talking normally to girls instead of making up stupid stuff to try to make them laugh but instead makes the guy look like an idiot.

Master Pick Up Artist

Buwhahahahahaha

God this day is funny shit

EDIT: Wait, seriously $1000 too? Holy hell fire batman. Making the funny hilarious right there

We have a mutual friend and he offered to let me sit in on the seminar free of charge.

I respect the guy even if I don't necessarily agree with everything he teaches/promotes. He's very smart, a great marketer, and extremely successful with his chosen profession. Looks like he has fun with it to boot, and if he's helping others then who am I to judge?

It should be an interesting seminar, I'm looking forward to it.

Great marketer indeed. Gives you a free ticket to post on this forum as an established member. Someone with fewer posts would get a vacation surely for this. You should be ashamed of yourself. But really, tiu did come to the right place for this. Probably get lots of poor geeks to shed a cool grand for what this guy promises.

The only mistake you made wad not posting this in L&R. Hope your getting a kick back at least.

I think it has more to do with a guy's attitude going in. He's either more confident now, or less of a jackass. You still don't need a seminar to teach that (or I guess we SHOULDN'T need a seminar to teach that).

He didn't ask or encourage me to post on this forum to market for him. I was just sharing my experience and can remove the link if it's inappropriate. No kick back, no expectations, and if I was doing this in exchange for a free ticket then I certainly wouldn't have mentioned that exchange. Just thought it was cool to meet someone whose book I've read and curious if any other ATOT'ers have gone to seminars like this so I have an idea about what to expect.

Can you record the seminar for us AT?
$1000 is a lot of money for a 3 days seminar.

DJ fuji is an PUA instructor as well, and i think he had met Neil before.

um.

was the content on that link written by a 4th grader? It's very pathetic, the amount of fail in the grammar.

I guess you don't need to be very bright to fool most womenz into sexing you up, eh?

:\

I never heard of that guy. It reminds me of some movie where some guy tried to teach some nerds how to pick up women. I think maybe Napolean Dynamite was it. It kind of reminds me of Hitch too. I thought that guy was actually Elliot Marshall who is an MMA fighter.

Not ripping on him I guess. I mean if it gives guys confidence to go talk to women, that's basically the main thing.

I'd be happy to take some notes for you guys if you are interested. I don't know if filming will be allowed but if it is, I'd be happy to record a few segments on my phone.

Agreed, $1000 is a ton of money... I'm also admittedly curious to see the clientele in attendance.

I remember DJ Fuji mentioning being an instructor, I wonder if he'll be there too...

Heh. Grammar fail.

I guess you have to cater to the "lowest common denominator" sometimes... As long as the basics are communicated, eh?

thanks, if you can't record, could you at least take some notes, and posted on AT, so we can learn from it.

I don't think Fuji will be there.
