When i was a kid I HATED Gretzky, that was like sacrilege!

As I got older, and watched him more and some of his older rerung games, I realized just how good he was.
I gotta say I was all chocked up when he retired, he was/is one of the all time greatest athletes, let alone just in hockey, if you could convert his numbers I am sure he would be better than
Jordan, Shaq, Earnhardt, Beckham, Sanders or anyone else for that matter,

Mark Messier is a hockey legend, period. As a Red Wings fan, I can probably say that he is my favorite player never to play for Detroit.

One of the greatest moments in sports history... he guarantees to the media and fans that the Rangers will beat New Jersey in that game 6, then goes out and scores a hat trick. Unbelievable.
