I now have extra, apparently duplicative subdirectories in my "documents and settings" subdirectories. In addition to an extra directory for each of the two authorized users, I have the following subdirectories: "All Users" and an "All Users. Windows", "default user" and "default user. windows", "local service" and "local service.NT authority" and "network service" and "network service.NT authority" . I was just going to back up the older directory for each pair (which is the first one listed in each pair above) to CD and then delete. However, when I run Nero, it tells me that access is denied to the "all users, application data, microsoft, dr watson" subdirectory and therefor verification of the CD copy fails. Since that is a program in one of the older directories (which I thought were just left over from a screwed up install/reinstall), I now am nervous about deleting any of these folders. Can anyone offer a suggestion as to what is going on and how I can safely delete some or all of these files?
