Messed up on a thank you letter

Yesterday I sent an interviewer a thank you letter. In the letter I was reminding the interviewer about my strong SQL skills. I noticed after I sent the letter that I wrote SOL skills. I don't know what I should do in this situation. I don't want to lose out on this job because of some stupid typo.

Normally I would not worry about something like this. I guess I?m worried because of what SOL stands for.

I am over reacting?

wow times change. when i was working a Thank you letter was to thank them for takeing the time to talk to them about the job. Not to rehash what they said in the interview.

yes this is the bigger issue

Yea, I wouldnt be worried about the typo as much as Id be worried about annoying the interviewer with a reminder of your "skills" which apparently, you failed to display.

don't sweat it. if the interviewer has a sense of humor and even know what SOL can stand for they'll chuckle it off.

certainly they will know you meant SQL.

thats a hilarious typo. work it to your advantage and send another note indicating that in addition ot your strong SOL skills that you also have SQL kills.

cheers!

Nah, the only thing that's changed would probably be the thank you kiss at the end of the interview, which many are still uncomfortable with.

Generally you don't type a thank you letter.

I have no idea how I managed it. Most people I've discussed it with think it's funny. Hopefully that's what they'll think.

I proof read the e-mail a number of times. It's one of those WTF moments.
