Ok well before this week i had WinXP and Vista installed and using the Vista Bootloader (with a lot of work to get this to work correctly).

Well yesterday i got a new hard drive, running out of space. So now that i have extra space where a need it i have a lot more so i decided to put linux back on my system, feisty fawn.

It my system is broke down 3 hard-drives, each has a different OS. So if i boot to the hard-drive that i install linux on it gives me options to start winxp and vista as well as linux of coarse. Well the winxp gave me an error when i tried to boot into from the loader.

Ok boot from vista drive i get the vista boot loader and now it seems i can not get to winxp from this loader either but this one gives me a different error.

So obviously i have some problems so this is what i am willing to do and if this sounds like a plan would anyone like to describe the method in accomplishing it.
1) i have not used the winxp for a while now so it has nothing important on it so i can format and reload winxp.
2) not willing to reformat vista.
3) if need be i can reformat linux as i just installed it.

What i want to do:
1) use the linux boot loader to select vista automatically, gives options select linux and winxp.
2) I still want the vista boot loader to work as it did if possible. Linux is an experiment so i do not want to depend on it for my boot loader for vista and xp.

Ok to sum it up i can/want to reformat my winxp install and use both linux boot loader and vista boot loader.

So anyone have some ideas?

Thanks
