Messed up mbr and loader.

Just reformatted my linux ext2 partition from windows and then restarted. Grub booted up to the prompt with no choices, wasn't sure what to do so I booted from the Linux cd and am currently reinstalling so that hopefully LILO will fix it. Couldn't boot from the 2k CD.. got to the Boot from CD: and then nothing happened.. Will reinstalling linux fix it? If not, any ideas?

I think grub reads files off of that ext2 partition you formatted (I could be wrong; I don't use grub).

At the very least, "fdisk /mbr" from DOS should put your MBR back to pre-Linux days.
